Recording Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Recording Engineer to join our creative team, bringing sound to life through expert audio recording, mixing, and production. Duties

• Operate recording equipment and software to capture pristine audio during studio sessions or live recordings
• Mix and edit audio tracks using industry-standard digital audio workstations (DAWs) to achieve optimal sound quality
• Collaborate with producers, directors, and artists to understand project requirements and deliver tailored sound solutions
• Manage signal processing tasks such as equalization, compression, reverb, and noise reduction to enhance audio clarity
• Assist in setting up recording environments, including microphones, soundboards, and acoustic treatments for optimal sound capture
• Oversee post-production processes including editing, mastering, and preparing audio files for distribution or broadcast
• Maintain detailed documentation of recording sessions, equipment logs, and project files for efficient workflow management

Requirements

• Proven experience in recording engineering within music production, film, television or multimedia projects
• Proficiency with industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere (for video integration), Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer or similar editing tools
• Strong knowledge of post-production techniques including sound editing and signal processing
• Skilled in videography and filming techniques to support multimedia content creation
• Familiarity with video production workflows and editing processes for seamless integration of audio and visual elements
• Excellent understanding of sound equipment setup, microphone placement, and acoustic principles
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and efficiently during recording sessions
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
