Records and Sterilization Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Records and Sterilization Coordinator to join our dynamic orthodontic team. Responsibilities

• Coordinate sterilization processes for orthodontic/dental instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
• Monitor sterilization logs, track instrument inventory, and ensure all sterilization procedures meet industry standards for safety and efficacy.
• Support clinical staff by preparing treatment rooms with necessary supplies, including X-ray equipment and 3D scanners.
• Collaborate with dental receptionists and chairside orthodontic assistants to ensure smooth workflow during four-handed dentistry sessions and pediatric patient visits.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of infection control practices, aseptic techniques, and sterilization protocols within a healthcare setting.
• Ability to handle sensitive patient information securely while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
