Records Digital Conversion Clerk (Part Time, Contract)

Team JAS, Inc. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to assist with a digital conversion project for our Historical Traceability Documents. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or anyone seeking short-term, hands-on experience in records management and digital archiving.

Position Summary:
In this role, you’ll be responsible for converting paper records into organized digital files. Using a Team JAS-provided laptop and scanner, you’ll scan, upload, and properly categorize files within our secure cloud storage system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and organize physical documents for scanning
• Accurately scan paper files and convert them to a digital format
• Upload and categorize files within the Team JAS SharePoint drive
• Maintain file integrity, accuracy, and organization
• Track and report progress weekly based on files uploaded

• Schedule: 3 days per week, 8 hours per day — or an accumulated 24 hours per week
• Employment Type: Contract
• Duration: Approximately 120 days from start date (estimated)
• Equipment Provided: Team JAS laptop, SharePoint drive access, and scanner

• Must be able to stand for extended periods while handling physical documents
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with scanning equipment are preferred
• Strong attention to detail and file organization
• Dependable and able to manage time effectively
• Can lift up to 30 lbs
