Performs periodic preventative maintenance and inspections of engines, pumps and associated equipment Primary assignment includes work such as: • Install and remove dynamometers pre-start inspections • Lubrication, battery, and hydraulic checks • Start-up and operation • Recording data and verifying correct operational ranges • Performing minor repairs such as replacing belts, hoses, etc. • Completes and maintains required work orders, records and documentation • Assists in conducting site inspections of piping subsystems. Other tasks include but are not limited to: • Stacking and moving of equipment and components using Cherry Pickers, Tugs and Forklifts in and out of designated storage areas • Completing and maintaining documentation to comply with reporting requirements • Performs corrosion preventative maintenance such as cleaning and applying preservatives and spot painting. • Conducts annual OA and lift inspections at sites
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Associates Degree from accredited school and three years experience. Must have a certification through an approved mechanical training/apprenticeship program or a military occupational specialty (MOS). Must be able to read, write and use mathematics to solve problems involving progressive calculations. EXPERIENCE IN LIEU OF EDUCATION: A High School Diploma and five years directly related maintenance experience and capable of performing journeyman level work. CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES: Valid Class E State Drivers License. This job will require lift inspection certification annually, forklift certification annually, will require travel on a monthly basis as mission dictates DESIRED: Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
