About Dismas Home of New Hampshire:
Dismas Home of New Hampshire is a residential treatment and reentry program that provides justice-involved women, including women veterans, with substance use disorders a safe, home-like environment to heal, recover, and rebuild their lives.
Position Description:
A Program Recovery Support Worker/CRSW under supervision is a key part of the Dismas Home of New Hampshire team, and focuses directly on the needs of the residents, justice involved women, transitioning /re-entry back into the community. A RSW/CRSW will provide support, give time to the residents, and thus promote their recovery and successful transition/re-entry back to the community.
Primary Responsibilities include the following:
- Promote independent living and successful re-entry, transition back to community
- Provide support with daily living tasks helping facilitate residents living ordinary lives
- Provide assistance with health concerns – as well as promote healthy behaviors
- Help to identify early signs of relapse and support treatment and recovery of residents
- Monitor and document self-administration of medication for residents
- Follow personnel policies of Dismas Home of New Hampshire
- Attend weekly staff meetings – mandatory
- Attend Supervision as scheduled by Clinical Director
- Complete personal property checks
- Assist with enforcing COVID-19 policies as needed
- Assist with volunteer activities and supervision of non-staff on the premises of Dismas Home of New Hampshire while conducting groups
- Case Management as assigned by Clinical Director
- Follows all ethical guidelines for SUD especially Confidentiality, 42 CFR Part 2 and HIPAA policies
- Utilize AZZLY EHR for data entry as trained and assigned to include Dismas Daily Log data entry on scheduled shift
- Level of responsibility is determined by certifications and experience
- Other responsibilities as needed and assigned
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to assist clients with developing short and long-term goals related to recovery, sobriety, case management, and personal life goals.
- Ability to complete documentation/shift notes, and tasks related to guidelines of Dismas Home policies
- Ability to work collaboratively with other Dismas Home of New Hampshire team members
- Ability to consistently exercise sound judgement in a crisis situation
- Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills
- Proficient Computer Skills, including basic typing skills
- Strong Interpersonal Skills
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Certified Recovery Support Worker (CRSW) or pursuing CRSW.
- Associate Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Human Services, or related counseling field (or considerate skill/experience with working in residential care or other applicable work experience).
- Current New Hampshire Driver’s License.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
