Recovery Vehicle Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Recovery Vehicle Driver. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, excellent navigational skills, and a commitment to ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and vehicle maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess each situation on arrival and choose the safest and most effective recovery method.
• Recover and transport vehicles safely, ensuring no damage occurs during loading or transport.
• Operate recovery equipment, ramps, lifts, straps, and tie-downs correctly and safely.
• Transport vehicles to repair workshops, storage facilities, or customer-designated locations.
• Provide roadside assistance, including battery boosting, flat tyre assistance, and towing services.
• Keep customers informed, offer reassurance, and provide a positive service experience during what is often a stressful situation.
• Maintain clear communication with the dispatch team by providing arrival updates, job status, and reporting any issues.
• Complete job sheets, vehicle condition reports, and obtain customer acknowledgements where required.
• Carry out daily vehicle inspections and ensure the recovery truck is clean, safe, and ready for service.
• Follow all UAE traffic laws, health and safety regulations, and company procedures in every recovery situation.

Qualifications:

Valid LVH driver’s license (Manual)

Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.

Proven experience as a driver, with a track record of safe and reliable driving.

Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.

Ability to read and interpret maps and GPS directions.

Good physical condition and stamina to handle the demands of the job.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Basic mechanical skills for vehicle maintenance are a plus.
