RECREATION ATTENDANT

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Recreation Attendant to join our team. This position involves supervising and assisting guests in various recreational activities and ensuring the safe operation of recreational facilities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, enjoy working in a dynamic environment, and possess a strong commitment to safety and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Assistance & Service:
• Greet and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide information about available recreational activities and programs.
• Ensure guests are aware of facility rules, schedules, and safety guidelines.
• Safety & Supervision:
• Monitor guests during recreational activities to ensure safety.
• Enforce all safety protocols and facility regulations.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations or incidents, providing first aid or assistance as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in all recreational areas.
• Facility Maintenance:
• Set up, maintain, and store equipment used for recreational activities.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and common areas regularly.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or facility issues to management for repair.
• Event Coordination:
• Assist with planning, setting up, and executing recreational programs and events.
• Support guests during events by providing guidance and ensuring smooth operations.
• Record Keeping:
• Keep accurate records of guest attendance, incident reports, or maintenance issues.
• Assist with tracking inventory of equipment and supplies.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
• Previous experience in a customer service or recreation-related role is preferred but not required.
• Skills:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay calm and act quickly in emergency situations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Certifications:
• CPR/First Aid certification is typically required (can be obtained after hiring if not already certified).
• Some roles may require additional certifications (e.g., lifeguard certification for pool attendants).
• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand, walk, or be on your feet for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment, including recreational supplies and cleaning materials.
• Comfortable working in various weather conditions (for outdoor settings).
