Reporting to the Director of Driver Recruiting, The Driver Recruiter will be responsible for the EVO recruiting cycle, sourcing Driver candidates, and seeing a candidate from application submission to the Orientation process. The Driver Recruiter will process the applications, ensure applicants meet EVO guidelines, build a Driver Qualification file in 100% accordance with DOT requirements, coordinate pre-hire processes and prepare a candidate to attend EVO new hire Orientation.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Utilize Tenstreet ATS to run a recruiting desk to source candidates and produce new hires.
  • Receive leads via external job postings and contact by phone, system dialer, incoming calls, and ATS texting feature to establish contact and inform candidates of details for EVO’s open position.
  • Make outbound calls to existing leads within EVO ATS systems.
  • Receive applications from candidates, confirm completeness and perform evaluations to assure candidates initially meet EVO’s guidelines.
  • Collect verification documents from candidates.
  • Run reports on candidates, including MVR, PSP, CDLIS, Clearinghouse, and previous employment history requests, among others.
  • Verify the results of the reports and check for accuracy in relation to information listed on application.
  • Perform final checks on applicant DQ files.
  • Maintain regular contact with candidates through entire recruiting process.
  • Coordinate with other departments to schedule road test and introduction to Operations department supervisors.
  • Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Tenstreet Applicant Tracking System.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in transportation recruitment.
  • Must possess full understanding of DOT and FMCSA regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High School Diploma required, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills are a must.

Pay: Up to $55,000.00 per year
