A Home Health Recruiter specializes in sourcing, screening, and hiring nursing and caregiving talent (RNs, LPNS, CNAs, PCAs) for home care agencies. They bridge the gap between candidates and patients by managing the full talent lifecycle, from sourcing and interviews to credentialing and orientation, ensuring compliant staffing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Talent Sourcing: Utilizing job boards, social media, and networking to build a pipeline of qualified home care professionals.
  • Screening & Interviewing: Conducting phone screens and in-depth interviews to assess candidate skills and cultural fit.
  • Credentialing & Compliance: Verifying licenses, certifications, and conducting background checks to meet regulatory standards.
  • Onboarding: Managing new hire orientation, paperwork, and training.
  • Relationship Management: Maintaining relationships with candidates and internal hiring managers.
  • Negotiation: Negotiating salaries and employment offers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of healthcare roles, particularly in home-based care.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, frequently handling high volumes of phone calls.
  • Organization: Managing a database of candidates and ensuring timely follow-up, often responding to applicants within 24 hours.
  • Sales Focus: Ability to persuade, engage, and connect with potential hires.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
