Summary/Objective To support hiring initiatives within the public transportation sector. This role will focus on attracting, screening, and hiring top talent for a variety of transit-related positions, including operators, mechanics, safety professionals, and administrative staff. The ideal candidate has experience recruiting in regulated, safety-sensitive environments such as public transit agencies, transportation companies, or related infrastructure sectors.
Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs across operations, maintenance, safety, and administrative departments.
Provide guidance to hiring managers on interview techniques, compensation trends, and labor market conditions.
Strategic sourcing and talent pipeline development

This position is Monday through Friday, with hours to be determined. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.
Knowledge of transit industry roles and workforce challenges.
Working Knowledge of Trapeze and Sage programs.
You must relate and interact with people at all levels of the Company.
Ability to always maintain confidentiality.
