Job Title: HR Generalist II - Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
Position Status: Exempt

  • All positions at Northlake Behavioral Health require the successful completion of a post-offer/pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen.

Position Summary:
The HR Generalist II is an advanced HR role focused on recruiting, talent acquisition, and employee engagement. This position partners with leadership, coaches supervisors, and assists with operational HR tasks as needed. The ideal candidate is upbeat, positive, and team-oriented.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting: job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, offer letters, background checks, and pre-employment drug screens.

  • Assist candidates with applications and employees with HR self-service portal use.

  • Conduct 30- and 60-day new hire check-ins; support exit interviews and analyze trends for HR Director.

  • Collaborate with HR Generalist I to ensure smooth onboarding and orientation.

  • Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and HR projects.

  • Assist with benefits administration and compliance with HR laws and DNV accreditation standards.

  • Support HR system implementations and training initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred; High School Diploma/GED required.

  • 5+ years HR/recruiting experience, or 3+ years with a bachelor’s degree.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.

  • Upbeat, positive, and team-oriented attitude.

  • HIPAA compliance knowledge and ability to handle confidential information.

Work Environment:
Primarily indoor office work with occasional travel. Reasonable ADA accommodations available.
