Recruiter (Contractor) – Foster Care Agency

Job Overview
A Safe Haven Foster Care Network is seeking a motivated and experienced Recruiter with HR experience to support the growth of our agency. This role is critical in helping us identify, attract, and onboard qualified professionals and foster parents who are passionate about serving children and families. This position is ideal for a self-driven recruiter comfortable in a startup/nonprofit environment who can operate independently while collaborating with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruiting for agency staff and contractors (clinical, administrative, and support roles)
• Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract qualified foster parents
• Post and manage job listings on platforms and other recruiting channels
• Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate next steps with leadership
• Assist with onboarding processes, including document collection and compliance tracking
• Maintain organized candidate pipelines and communication logs
• Partner with leadership to identify staffing needs and hiring priorities
• Support recruitment events, community outreach, and foster parent information sessions
• Ensure all recruitment practices align with agency standards and Ohio foster care requirements

Pay: $50,686.95 - $61,042.35 per year
