Location: Dayton, MN

Why We’re Hiring

We are seeking a hands-on Recruiter / HR Coordinator to help us reset and rebuild our workforce—starting with drivers and frontline operations roles. This position is critical to improving reliability, accountability, and customer experience by bringing in people who align with our standards and values.If you enjoy building teams, improving culture, and working closely with operations leadership, this role offers a meaningful opportunity to make a real impact.

What You’ll Do

Recruiting & Hiring

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for CDL drivers and operations staff
  • Post jobs, source candidates, and manage applicant pipelines
  • Conduct phone screens and in-person interviews
  • Coordinate background checks, drug screens, and CDL verification
  • Partner with operations leaders to understand staffing needs and performance expectations

Onboarding & HR Support

  • Lead new hire onboarding and orientation
  • Ensure completion of all hiring and compliance documentation
  • Maintain employee and applicant records
  • Assist with benefits enrollment and HR communications

Culture & Employee Experience

  • Support leadership in reinforcing accountability, attendance, and customer service standards
  • Help identify and address workforce challenges early
  • Assist with performance documentation and employee relations

What We’re Looking ForRequired Qualifications

  • 1–3+ years of recruiting or HR coordination experience
  • Experience with hourly or high-volume hiring
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills
  • Highly organized and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional, confident, and people-focused

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Experience recruiting CDL drivers or transportation roles
  • HR experience in logistics, waste, construction, or field operations
