We are seeking an experienced Bilingual Recruiter / HR Coordinator to support high-volume recruiting and onboarding for skilled trade positions including Plumbing and HVAC installers, as well as office and administrative roles, across multiple markets. This role manages the full recruitment lifecycle while coordinating HR onboarding processes and ensuring compliance with federal and multi-state labor laws and employment regulations.

Recruiter/ HR Coordinator Pay Range (Hourly):
Pay: $28.85 - $36.06 / Hourly depending on experience
Recruiter/HR Coordinator Responsibilities and Duties (Essential Job Functions):
  • Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for plumbing, HVAC, mechanical insulation, as well as office and administrative positions, across multiple states.
  • Source, screen, and coordinate interviews to support high-volume hiring needs.
  • Conduct candidate sourcing, outreach, and headhunting to identify qualified talent.
  • Facilitate and coordinate new hire onboarding, employment documentation, and pre-employment requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and multi-state labor laws and hiring regulations for job postings, screening, interviews and onboarding.
  • Coordinate background checks, employment verification, and required onboarding documentation.
  • Maintain candidate pipelines and accurate records within ATS systems and HR platforms.
  • Partner with hiring managers to meet staffing needs and hiring timelines.
  • Assist with I-9 verification, E-Verify, and onboarding compliance documentation.
  • Provide HR coordination and administrative support related to hiring and onboarding.
  • Assists with benefits enrollment and employee communication
  • Provide general HR support related to polices, onboarding, and employee inquires
  • Help coordinate employee engagement initiatives and company events
  • Supports workforce planning and retention strategies in collaboration with HR Leadership
  • Maintain accurate employee records
  • Promote the company brand and represent the organization at career fairs, recruitment events, and other outreach opportunities as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management
Recruiter/ HR Coordinator Qualifications:
  • Must have a high school diploma, or General Equivalency Diploma, or GED.
  • Must support UMC's Vision, Mission, and Core Value statements, demonstrate a high degree of integrity, and maintain the confidentiality of personnel and business information.
  • Possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, initiative, and communications skills.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
  • 3+ years recruiting/ HR experience, preferably in skilled trades (HVAC, plumbing, or construction)
  • Experience supporting high-volume recruiting and onboarding
  • Proficient knowledge of federal and multi-state labor laws and employment compliance
  • Experience working with ATS systems and managing recruiting pipelines
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with HR systems, recruiting platforms, and standard office software
  • Experience with candidate sourcing, headhunting, and outbound recruiting methods (preferred)
  • Ability to manage multiple open roles across multiple states and markets simultaneously
  • Ability to communicate effectively and write fluently in English and Spanish
  • Must have reliable transportation and have a valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to work onsite M-F 8:00am-4:30pm and be flexible to change as needed
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive employee and candidate information with discretion
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed
  • Must be able to attend initial training in Utah for the first 2–4 weeks
