GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Human Resources Generalist/Recruiter is responsible for performing HR-related duties. This position requires a strong background in Recruitment, as well as carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Administers and coordinates benefits but not limited to medical/dental/vision/STD/life insurance/retirement, etc.

Audits invoices related to benefits to ensure accuracy as it regards HR services.

Completes monthly/quarterly/annual background checks to ensure compliance.
-
Back-up Facilitator for New Employee Orientation.
-
Maintains accurate staff rosters and updates in the HRIS when needed.
-
Runs reports and analyzes HR data for accuracy and efficiency.

Processes new hires.
-
Tracks employees’ licensures/certifications to ensure compliance.
-
Completes regulatory agencies’ audits as requested.
-
Performs other duties as assigned.
RECRUITMENT:

Manages the agency's recruitment and selection efforts.
-
Partner with hiring managers to understand job requirements/candidate profiles.
-
Source, screen, and shortlist qualified candidates using various channels (job boards, social media, professional networks, etc.).

Conduct initial interviews to assess candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit.
-
Provide a positive candidate experience thru clear communication & feedback.
-
Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring teams.
-
Negotiate offers and manage onboarding processes.
-
Develop recruitment strategies to attract diverse and high-caliber talent.
-
Maintain a robust talent pipeline for current and future staffing needs.
-
Represent the company at career fairs, networking events, and other recruitment-related activities.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
-
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field required.
-
Three (3) years of recent advanced Human Resources experience required.
-
Experience working in non-profit, public health sector or community mental health setting is preferred.
-
Proven background in recruitment and knowledgeable of best practices.
-
Experience with Paycom highly preferred.
-
Experience with regulatory agencies’ audits (i.e., DWIHN, HRSA, MDHHS, EEOC, etc.) highly preferred.

Strong analytical and attention to detail skills are required

Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate with diverse partners and audiences.

Must be adept at managing multiple tasks and meeting critical deadlines.

Ability to strategically think, analyze and problem solve effectively.
