The Recruiting Assistant is responsible for assisting the Human Resources team members with the recruitment of open positions and the onboarding of new team members. This position is designed as a project position with a duration of 6-12 months.
Description of Essential Duties:
Talent Acquisition & Candidate Management
- Source and mine resumes across multiple platforms to build a strong candidate pipeline.
- Generate and maintain a qualified candidate pool for open requisitions.
- Screen candidates against job descriptions and conduct initial phone screens to assess fit.
- Schedule and coordinate in person interviews with hiring managers and stakeholders.
- Manage candidate dispositioning and workflow tracking within Ceridian.
Recruitment Marketing
- Support social media recruitment campaigns to attract talent and increase brand visibility.
HR & Administrative Support
- Provide administrative support for onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Prepare and organize onboarding materials, including binders, paperwork, and compliance documents.
- Coordinate pre employment requirements such as background checks and drug screenings.
- Maintain accurate filing systems and employee documentation.
- Assist with general HR department needs and cross functional support.
Systems & Process Management
- Utilize onboarding and offboarding systems to ensure smooth employee transitions.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal processes and HR standards.

- Education equivalent to an Associate’s Degree.
- Prior experience in HR, recruiting support, or administrative support preferred but not required.
- Must be reliable, self-starter, and possess natural curiosity.
- Requires a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with a diverse group of people and external candidates.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast paced environment.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems preferred (Ceridian experience a plus).
