Lucky Star Marketing is a growing agricultural and produce distribution organization committed to operational excellence, employee development, and building a high-performing workforce. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Recruiting Coordinator to lead our recruitment efforts while supporting key Human Resources initiatives across our domestic and international operations.

This position is ideal for an HR professional who is passionate about talent acquisition, employee engagement, and organizational development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment

  • Develop and execute recruiting strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checks, and onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective hiring plans.
  • Source candidates through job boards, social media, professional networks, employee referrals, and other recruiting channels.
  • Conduct interviews and candidate assessments to evaluate qualifications and cultural fit.
  • Coordinate pre-employment testing, background checks, and hiring documentation.

Training & Development

  • Coordinate onboarding programs for new hires.
  • Assist in developing and delivering employee training programs.

Employee Relations & HR Administration

  • Serve as a resource for employee questions and concerns.
  • Assist with employee relations matters, performance management, and workplace investigations.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Advanced computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and/or Google Workspace.
  • Proven experience managing employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance management, disciplinary actions, and workplace investigations.
  • Experience managing employee relations issues, such as grievances, conflicts, and performance issues.
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition strategies, including sourcing, interviewing, and selecting candidates.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in the Asian produce industry or related field is a plus.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish

Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in recruitment, HR coordination, or a similar role with the primary focus on recruitment.
  • Certified HR Manager is a plus.
  • Familiarity with modern HR tools, employee engagement platforms, and virtual onboarding.

Education:

  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.

Shift:

  • 8-hour shift

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Work setting:

  • Office

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
