Recruitment and Training Coordinator

We are looking to appoint a new Recruitment and Training Coordinator to work 37.5 hours per week, 7.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday.

The main responsibilities of the role are:

To ensure that the recruitment at MNCC is carried out effectively and efficiently and to ensure employment laws are followed in all aspects of recruitment and employment.

To act as the Training Co-ordinator, ensuring all training is identified, organised, circulated and communicated to staff. To hold central training records in keeping with legal requirements.

Duties include:

1. Recruitment

  • sending out application forms,
  • ensuring a relevant job description is in place
  • collating job applicants
  • organising interviews
  • liaising with Hods after interviews
  • sending out offer and rejection letters,
  • requesting references for new staff
  • organising DBS checks for applicants.
  • arranging start dates for new starters
  • issuing uniform and name badge
  • issuing Induction/Care Certificate (as appropriate)
  • To ensure all new staff files are complete with all necessary paperwork including up to date job descriptions before handing to Payroll Department.
  • To be responsible for all ordering, issuing and maintaining complete record of uniforms to existing staff.
  • To liaise with outside organisations such as agencies and publications regarding advertising and recruitment.
  • To create and post internal job adverts.
  • To maintain up to date list of RN/Care staff establishment on a monthly basis.

2. Training

  • organising/booking training
  • identifying and working with outside training Providers both clinical and non-clinical
  • publicising training schedules
  • emailing reminders
  • updating and maintaining compliance trackers
  • maintaining electronic training records
  • issuing certificates for all training, ensuring copies held on training files
  • coordinating the use of the training room
  • To organise and maintain records and user accounts for annual elearning Mandatory Training Programme for all staff and liaise with all units/departments regarding staff participation.
  • To source, coordinate and keep records of all adhoc training
  • Provide monthly training and recruitment statistics to SMT
  • To be responsible for the administration of the Apprenticeship Levy and Apprentice training.
  • To keep a check on Immigration status of Employees where appropriate.
  • To check NMC and HCPC PIN numbers of all qualified staff.
  • To participate in the administrative development of policies, practices and procedures of MNCC as appropriate
  • To be familiar with and to promote the philosophy, aims and approach to the care delivered at MNCC

Pay: £14.23 per hour
