About the Role:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented video editor to produce engaging YouTube Shorts that mirror the dynamic and educational style of Katya SAT tutor's content.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for visual storytelling, the ability to simplify complex topics, and a passion for creating content that educates and captivates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit short-form videos (under 60 seconds) that align with the pacing, tone, and visual style of Katya Seberson's YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels.
• Incorporate dynamic text overlays, animations, and transitions to enhance viewer engagement.
• Utilize motion graphics to illustrate concepts clearly and effectively.
• Sync audio and video seamlessly, ensuring clarity and coherence.
• Collaborate with the content team to understand the subject matter and desired outcomes for each video.
• Implement feedback promptly and efficiently to refine video content.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in video editing, particularly for educational or tutorial content.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong understanding of motion graphics and animation techniques.
• Ability to replicate the editing style of Katya Seberson, characterized by:
• Fast-paced cuts and transitions.
• Clear and concise text overlays.
• Use of visual aids to explain complex topics.
• Engaging animations that maintain viewer interest.
• Excellent communication skills and responsiveness to feedback.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with educational content creation or familiarity with SAT/academic subjects.
• Basic knowledge of color grading and sound design.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
