Role Overview

We are looking for a Reels & Podcast Video Creator who can shoot and edit engaging short-form video content using professional DSLR/mirrorless cameras.
The ideal candidate can shoot reels, podcast episodes, shorts, and talking-head videos, and edit them into polished, platform-ready deliverables with strong pacing, motion graphics, and clean audio.

Key Responsibilities

Shooting

• Shoot reels, podcasts, shorts & talking-head videos using professional DSLR/mirrorless cameras (Sony preferred)
• Set up camera, lighting & audio for podcast and interview shoots
• Capture well-framed, well-lit, clean audio-synced footage
• Operate gimbals/tripods for stability where required

Editing

• Edit reels & shorts with engaging pacing, transitions & motion graphics
• Edit podcast videos into full-length versions and short highlight clips
• Add kinetic text, lower thirds, titles & overlays to enhance engagement
• Deliver content optimized for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts & YouTube long-form
• Create multiple aspect ratios from the same footage (9:16, 16:9, 1:1)
• Perform basic color correction & audio clean-up
• Organize footage, manage backups & maintain clean project structures

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience shooting reels/shorts using professional DSLR/mirrorless cameras
• Strong video editing skills with proficiency in editing social media reels using the latest editing software and techniques to deliver a polished, professional output
• Mandatory: Adobe Premiere Pro
• Mandatory: Adobe After Effects (motion graphics integration)
• Preferred: CapCut Desktop (trend-based motion effects)
• Preferred: DaVinci Resolve (color correction & grading)
• Knowledge of lighting setups & microphone handling for podcasts
• Understanding of platform formats, pacing, typography & motion trends
• Ability to work on-ground, collaborate with creative leads, and meet timelines
• English proficiency required

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

• Experience with Sony A7S3 / FX3 / A7 series
• Familiarity with multi-camera podcast setups
• Exposure to AI-assisted editing tools (Autopod, Runway, Descript)
• Experience repurposing podcast long-form into short-form clips
