Refrigeration and HVAC Service Maintenance Technician - Restaurant

KADE MECHANICAL is a refrigeration, light commercial HVAC company specializing in commercial kitchen food service equipment and repair. Restaurants are our passion! We repair and install Walk in Coolers/Freezers, Ice Machines, Reach in Coolers, Ovens, Range-Tops, Fryers, HVAC Units, Swamp Coolers, Mixers – pretty much any major appliance that a kitchen can NOT live without. We have a few restaurant chains that we take care of, and we continue to strive for excellence and positive customer service.

We are seeking a highly motivated technical person to join and grow with our team. Seeking 1- 2+ years of previous HVAC, Refrigeration, and/or Kitchen Equipment Experience - Residential or Commercial. Someone who would like to learn more and step out of just working on HVAC units. We are very willing to train the right person.

** THIS IS AN ENTRY LEVEL POSITION - You will learn your way around Commercial HVAC systems, Refrigeration, and Commercial Kitchen Hot side equipment (ovens, fryers, panini presses, mixers, etc) - This position is ideal for someone wanting to break into Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration and really wants to learn. We are seeking someone highly motivated to become more and grow with us!! This position is the start to become a Service Technician.

You will be meeting with our lead maintenance crew every morning and performing routine maintenance on Ice Machines, Reach in coolers and Freezers, Display Cases, HVAC Equipment, Panini Presses, Commercial Ovens, etc. Very easy going work. We will teach you how to repair these items as needed!! You will ride-along with another technician in a company van to start. We start very EARLY every day! Must be flexible with start times and reliable. MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION TO MEET WITH OUR TEAM EVERY DAY.

Job Requirements:

• Need to be able lift 50 lbs +
• Be able to report to work on time
• Need to be able to climb ladders
• Must have 1+ year field exp (Commercial or Residential) or Trade School
• EPA certified
• Need to have necessary standard hand tools to perform service work. (Meter, Impact Driver)
• Clean AZ driving record and insurable
• Be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Be able to pass a background check
• Must have great people and communication skills--
• Must be able to use scheduling software using smart phone
• Must have valid Drivers License for at least 5 years (Insurance Requirement to drive our vehicles)
