Refrigeration Service Dispatcher

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for dispatching the Refrigeration Service Field Technicians.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

Ensure the efficient dispatching of jobs and purchase orders to the Refrigeration Service FieldTechnicians
Accept all work orders through Service Channel, send the email to technicians when a job is dispatched.
Create job numbers & send work orders to technicians.
Create and/or assign job numbers to pending work orders in DMITRI.
Receive customer service calls and delegate them to the appropriate Refrigeration Service Technician
Receive customer complaints, solving them or delegating them to the appropriate Service Sales Engineer

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Receive and enter customer service calls onto the dispatch board obtaining the proper information such as job location, billing address, phone number, contact, etc.
Dispatch Refrigeration Service Technicians according to calls received based on priority of service to include name, address and job number.
Accept all work orders through Service Channel, send email to technicians when job is dispatched.
Create and/or assign job numbers to pending work orders in DMITRI.
Schedule Refrigeration Service Technicians for service agreements and quoted work.
Coordinate refrigeration service-related work with other departments. Scheduling cranes if needed.
Receive customer complaints and provide solutions and reconciliation.
Work with Refrigeration Service Manager regarding complaints pertaining to Refrigeration Service Technicians.
Ensure that all jobs completed are processed in a timely manner.
Issue purchase orders to Refrigeration Service Technicians.
Maintain the dispatch board when work has started or is complete.
Create proposals for over the NTE amounts in Service Channel, when time allows.
Enter refrigerant usage in tracking systems, when time allows.
Update customer facilities teams on aging work orders with status.
Assist with ordering Hussmann parts online and research.
Backup Oklahoma Dispatch.
Any additional tasks deemed necessary by their supervisor.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Minimum high school diploma. Minimum three years’ experience in the HVAC / R industry. Must have ability to multi-task and possess excellent customer service skills.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as work orders and customer directives. Able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

COMPUTER SKILLS: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Office Word Processing software.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
