Duties

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair refrigeration systems, including ammonia refrigeration units and HVAC/R equipment
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints to diagnose system issues accurately
• Perform routine maintenance on air conditioning units, boilers, and related mechanical systems to prevent breakdowns
• Conduct field service visits to client sites for appliance repair, equipment repair, and property maintenance tasks
• Use tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to test electrical components and perform necessary repairs
• Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and safety documentation for all repairs and inspections
• Assist with HVAC design modifications or upgrades to improve system efficiency and compliance with safety standards

Experience

• Proven experience as a service technician specializing in refrigeration, HVAC, or mechanical systems
• Hands-on experience with construction projects involving plumbing, welding, or equipment installation is highly desirable
• Familiarity with schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and HVAC/R system layouts
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and field testing equipment
• Prior experience in property maintenance or appliance repair is advantageous
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving <PERSON> drivers preferred
• Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems and HVAC design principles is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in the field while maintaining safety standards
