Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Refrigeration Technician/Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration and HVAC systems across various commercial and industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure that refrigeration units, air conditioning systems, and related mechanical equipment operate efficiently and reliably. Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain refrigeration systems, including ammonia refrigeration units and HVAC/R equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints to execute installations and repairs accurately.
- Perform routine maintenance on air conditioning units, boilers, pumps, and other mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct field service visits to diagnose issues on-site and implement effective solutions promptly.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to test electrical circuits and repair mechanical components.
- Assist with plumbing tasks related to refrigeration and HVAC systems, ensuring proper connections and leak-free operation.
- Maintain detailed service records, reports, and logs for all work performed, adhering to safety standards and company policies.
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician or installer specializing in refrigeration, HVAC systems, or property maintenance.
- Hands-on knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, plumbing systems, and mechanical troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems and the safe handling of refrigerants.
- Mechanical experience with equipment repair including welding, boiler maintenance, and general mechanical repairs.
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively in troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Field service experience working directly on-site with clients in commercial or industrial environments.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
