1. Responsibilities of the Position
a. Primary Responsibilities
This position is to ensure all Refugee Support Services (RSS) are offered to all clients who are eligible for RSS. Clients are eligible for RSS services for 5 years from the date of their arrival in the United States.
i. RSS Case Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for RSS clients (eligible up to 5 years post-arrival)
- Complete required reports in accordance with Missouri Office of Refugee Administration (MO-ORA) guidelines, including:
- Family Self-Sufficiency Plans (semi-annual)
- Ongoing updates to goals, barriers, budgets, and employment, etc.
- Follow-up and program reports as required
- Assist with quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reporting
- Provide required RSS services and referrals, including:
- Benefits support (SNAP, Medicaid, WIC, DFS)
- School support (mtgs, translation coordination, special ed follow-up)
- English language development (ELL program engagement)
- Employment support (job search, workplace issues, benefits, advancement)
- Housing support (landlord communication, address updates)
- Maintain accurate case notes and records in all required databases
- Monitor immigration status and refer for legal support when needed
- Coordinate interpretation and transportation services
b. Secondary Responsibilities
- Provide transportation for clients as needed (RAISE or personal vehicle with reimbursement)
- Collaborate with the Case Management team and other departments
- Attend weekly staff and team meetings, and complete required trainings
- Other duties as assigned

- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and database systems
- Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism
- Empathy and ability to work with diverse populations, including individuals with limited English proficiency
b. Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Social Work, International Studies, or related field preferred)
- Experience in case management or social services
- Experience working cross-culturally
- Proficiency in a second language (e.g., Arabic, Dari, Spanish, Swahili, etc.)

4. Hours and Compensation
- This is a W2 position
- Full-time hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Pay: $20-$25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
- Payment: Monthly
RAISE currently offers paid holidays and PTO but does not offer additional benefits such as health insurance, or retirement at this time.
