Notre Dame High School, Gr. 7-12, is a college preparatory school in Elmira, NY, and is currently seeking to fill the position of Part-Time Earth Science Teacher. The qualified candidate will teach NYS Regents Earth Science. The ideal individual will possess both teaching experience and certification for grades 9-12, be willing to incorporate the NGSS and 3-dimensional learning into the curriculum, and have practical classroom management skills. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and communicate clearly with all stakeholders through written, spoken, and visual media. The science teacher must be committed to continuously developing curriculum and instruction through collaboration and ongoing professional development. A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required; however, a Master's Degree is preferred. Past teaching experience is preferred.
