Region Sales Director
Location: Midwest Region (ideally based in Chicago)
EPM Scientific is partnered with a leading U.S.-based surgical solutions manufacturer seeking a Region Director to lead the Acute Care Sales segment. This role is responsible for driving regional revenue growth, leading a team of Account Executives and Account Managers, and executing strategic initiatives across a broad portfolio of
surgical and infection prevention products.
Responsibilities:

Lead, coach, and develop a regional sales team to achieve revenue targets

Set strategy for account growth and expansion

Partner cross-functionally to execute GPO/IDN initiatives and drive pull-through

Oversee product trials, implementations, and contract launches

Monitor pipeline, forecasting, and field activity

Build relationships with key hospital stakeholders and decision makers

Support complex negotiations and strategic account growth

Represent the company at industry events and trade shows

Evaluate performance metrics and implement corrective actions

Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing talent

Provide market and customer insights to leadership
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred

7+ years of medical device sales experience with leadership progression

3+ years of people management experience (field-based teams preferred)

Strong understanding of hospital/OR environment and disposable products

High EQ leadership with the ability to adapt across team dynamics and individual needs

Strong sales coach who can effectively teach and develop selling skills across the team

Proven success in complex sales cycles, negotiations, and forecasting

Willingness to travel up to 75%
