Prestige Healthcare is looking for an experienced Regional Business Office Manager to join our team to oversee Regional Business Office operations. Qualified candidates will have experience with Skilled Nursing Facility Accounts Receivable billing and collections processes and procedures.

Job Requirements:

  • Ensure timely and accurate facility processes relating to financial files for residents: billing, cash collections, admissions contracts, and state and Medicare reimbursement documents.
  • Coordinates and may assist in the collection of accounts receivable and past due accounts as assigned Facilities.
  • Assists in the preparation of billing for Medicare, Veterans, and Hospice and coordinates timely billing with the CBO.
  • Ensures reconciliation of resident trust accounts and petty cash monthly at assigned facilities.
  • Prepares and submits corporate, Medicare and agency reports, ensures posting of ancillaries, and performs month-end close procedures.
  • Partners with VP Ops, RDO, and Corporate leadership to review and address barriers to cash collections, and Coordinates the submission of A/R report metrics timely.
  • Works with BOM and CBO to ensure timely billing and collections in line with Monthly Cash collections goals.
  • Coordinates bad debt write off process with BOM and Corporate office
  • Actively participates in the Hiring and Onboarding of Facility Business Office personnel.
  • May perform in the capacity of Facility Business Office Manager for up to 30 days while permanent BOM is recruited.

Qualifications:
Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • BA degree in Accounting or Business is preferred.

Licenses/Certification:
Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in accounts receivable, in the Long Term Care industry or similar Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Knowledge of billing and collection practices and techniques.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize to meet deadlines.
  • Skilled in the use of computers and the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
  • Ability to be flexible in work hours.
  • Ability to be accurate, concise and detail oriented.
  • Skilled in directing and motivating the workforce.
