The Regional Clinical Manager at Vektor Medical plays a critical role in leading and developing the Clinical Specialist team within a designated region. This individual ensures the delivery of exceptional clinical and technical to physicians and healthcare providers using vMap® during electrophysiology (EP) procedures and clinic evaluations.

The RCM is responsible for driving clinical strategy, supporting customer adoption, developing team capabilities, and partnering cross-functionally to optimize the use and impact of vMap®. This role reports directly to the National Clinical Director.

The Regional Clinical Manager’s primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


Clinical Leadership & Strategy:

  • Partner with the National Clinical Director to develop and implement clinical strategies to support the sales and adoption of vMap® across the region.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and R&D to align of clinical initiatives with business objectives.
  • Provide actionable clinical insights to support product development and continuous improvement.


Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Clinical Specialists.
  • Establish clear performance expectations and monitor execution to ensure excellent customer support.
  • Work with the National Clinical Director to facilitate ongoing training and professional development to enhance clinical and technical expertise.
  • Manage team scheduling to ensure optimal staffing for procedures and customer support needs.
  • Oversee time-off approvals while maintaining adequate coverage during all clinical activities.
  • Partner with the National Clinical Director to lead recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of Clinical Specialists to support regional growth.
  • Partner with leadership and HR to build and maintain a strong talent pipeline.


Customer and Physician Engagement:

  • Serve as a senior clinical resource and escalation point for complex cases and customer needs.
  • Coach Clinical Specialists to effectively engage with physicians, hospital staff and key stakeholders.
  • Support and deliver clinical education and training programs for healthcare professionals on vMap®.
  • Provide on-site clinical expertise during complex EP procedures as needed.


Compliance & Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure all clinical activities adhere to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Maintain current knowledge of EP advancements, clinical data and industry trends.
  • Oversee accurate collection and reporting of clinical and procedural data.


Sales & Marketing Partnership:

  • Partner with Sales leadership and the National Clinical Director to identify opportunities to drive product adoption through clinical engagement.
  • Participate in regional planning, account strategy, and sales meetings.
  • Represent Vektor Medical at conference and industry events, building strong professional relationships.
  • Support product launches with clinical training and field execution.


Reporting & Analytics:

  • Provide regular reports to the National Clinical Director and senior leadership on the team performance, customer insights, and regional market dynamics.
  • Analyze clinical outcomes and feedback to drive continuous improvement in product utilization and customer satisfaction.


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
  • Must demonstrate a technical aptitude, and ability to discuss & explain complex technical product information
  • Ability to travel (including overnight) more than 50% of the time
  • Applicant must have excellent verbal and written communication skills


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience managing, leading, or developing a clinical or field-based team
  • Minimum of 4 years industry experience in medical device clinical support, sales, clinical electrophysiology, or equivalent education and experience
  • IBHRE CEPS certification
  • Work experience in electrophysiology (e.g. worked in an Electrophysiology Lab/Clinic, clinical or sales support of 3D cardiac mapping systems, clinical or sales support of Cardiac Rhythm Management devices)


Additional Job Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle and active vehicle insurance policy
  • Driving record and background check will be reviewed and considered as part of the application
  • Must be able to stand/sit/walk for 8 hours a day
  • Strong work ethic, including punctuality, reliability, honesty, responsibility and a commitment to quality work
  • Ability to meet vendor credentialing requirements
  • Environmental exposure to infectious disease and radiation
  • Ability to coordinate/participate in numerous tasks/projects in a fast-paced environment in an organized manner while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to wear 7-9 lbs of protective lead for extended periods of time
