Location: Remote, US (Candidates located in the Midwestern or Western United States are preferred)
Compensation: Up to mid-$80,000s base salary, plus up to 45% sales incentive bonus and a car allowance

About the Role:
Start building your sales career in this entry level role where you will have significant impact on our business. Primary responsibility is to drive sales of our product through existing and new targeted distribution customers, deliver world class technical support, and collect Voice of Customers of surfacing markets within North America. The focus for this role is to identify target distributor accounts/applications/markets, cultivate customer relationships and drive profitable new business growth primarily through distribution sales. The position is expected to uphold the mission and values established by IPS Corporation and reports to the Director of Sales.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maximize sales and customer experience through effective account management of key distribution partners
  • Identify new targeted distribution partners in all substrates as needed
  • Onboard, train and support sales organization of distribution partners
  • Provide demonstrations of products and help support sales at end users as necessary
  • Participate in sales forecasting process
  • Monitor the market and provide ongoing intelligence on trends, competition, new product opportunities.
  • Utilize outlined sales and funnel management processes using Salesforce
  • Maintain a continuous improvement mindset
  • Collect and provide VOC (voice of the customer) to internal commercial and operations team.
  • Field customer inquiries and provide technical product information, provide technical support via phone, video chat or in person as required.
  • Ensure pricing and terms for customers are within established guidelines.
  • Identify and quantify opportunities to expand product offering into the same or adjacent markets.
  • Maintain positive attitude and demonstrate professional behavior with internal and external customers; work collaboratively with other members of the sales, marketing, finance and operations team.
  • Follow all safety guidelines for a safe work environment. Report any unsafe working conditions or behaviors to the appropriate safety manager, Director of Sales, or Human Resources Business Partner.
  • All other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Skills
  • Ability to understand and sell technical products.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to speak Spanish a plus.
  • Positive attitude with customer centric focus
  • Working knowledge of products offered or ability to learn quickly
  • High learning agility with strong self-initiative
  • Organized, results driven, ability to work with functional teams and work to deadlines
  • Critical thinking skills
  • CRM experience (e.g, Salesforce) a plus
Education/Experience
  • Associates degree or equivalent experience. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
Travel
  • This position may require up to 70% travel. Frequently travel is outside the local area and may be overnight.
