Summary / Objective

The Regional Executive is a key member of the Marketing team responsible for driving profitable revenue within an assigned geographic territory. This role leverages all LIO distribution channels—including retail agencies, insurance carriers, and digital affiliates—to achieve business objectives. The Regional Executive develops and executes regional sales plans to achieve goals in submissions, premium production, and loss ratio performance.

Essential Duties & Functions

  • Identify trends and customer needs to build a short-, medium-, and long-term sales pipeline aligned with the annual business plan.

  • Partner closely with the field underwriting team to maximize regional production through broker engagement and industry events.

  • Represent LIO professionally with brokers, carriers, and trading partners, demonstrating technical expertise, organizational excellence, and commitment to continuous improvement.

  • Achieve annual gross written premium and submission goals.

  • Develop and execute a regional sales plan that includes:

    • Setting new business production goals with key brokers and strategic partners, reviewed monthly.

    • Tracking and evaluating production and performance metrics to ensure goal attainment.

    • Adjusting regional plans as needed based on results and market feedback.

  • Conduct a minimum of 12+ customer visits per week (in-person and virtual), coordinating activity with underwriting teams to optimize production.

  • Identify and execute book roll opportunities for current and new product offerings.

  • Provide constructive feedback to enhance company-wide sales strategy, structure, and best practices.

  • Pursue ongoing professional development by completing continuing education or industry designation courses in support of LIO’s goal to develop subject matter experts.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Experience with ZenDesk or similar CRM tools.

  • Previous experience in the insurance industry.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base Salary: $60,000 – $112,900 annually

  • Commission: Draw commission structure on new business with uncapped earning potential

Work Environment

This role operates in a professional office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment.

Physical Demands

Must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, talk, and hear. Occasionally required to lift or move items up to 20 pounds.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. May require extended hours or weekend work as needed.

Travel

Regular travel is required.
