Position Summary

Awayday is a leading vacation rental company dedicated to providing exceptional experiences for guests and homeowners. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Marketing Manager to oversee and execute guest marketing strategies across multiple vacation rental companies within our portfolio. This omnichannel role requires expertise in digital marketing, seeking to drive bookings, expand social media reach, and increase engagement across all channels.


The ideal candidate will understand all channels and have deep expertise in at least one channel. While this is an internal-facing position, there is an expectation of amazing agency-style client management with our internal clients (vacation rental companies).

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Email Marketing

  • Create and execute targeted email campaigns using personalization, segmentation, and A/B testing

  • Optimize deliverability and engagement using best practices

  • Monitor campaign performance and continuously improve strategy to maximize engagement and ROI.

Social Media Management

  • Plan, create, and schedule compelling content across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)

  • Grow audience engagement and brand visibility through organic social media strategies

  • Stay ahead of trends to ensure content is fresh and relevant

Website & Landing Page Management

  • Update and manage website content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and user experience

  • Design and build landing pages for promotions, campaigns, and lead generation

Paid Media Oversight

  • Manage relationships with external contractors and agencies for Google Ads and Facebook Ads

  • Collaborate on targeting, creative direction, and optimization strategies

  • Monitor KPIs and ensure alignment with business goals

Analytics & Reporting

  • Generate and analyze reports across email, website, and social media

  • Translate data into actionable insights that inform strategy

  • Present findings clearly to stakeholders across the business

Campaign Strategy Development

  • Collaborate with internal teams (Revenue, Operations, Guest Services) to align marketing with company goals

  • Plan, coordinate, and launch seasonal and evergreen campaigns

  • Take initiative to fill marketing gaps and identify growth opportunities


WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • 5+ years in digital or omnichannel marketing roles

  • 2+ years of agency experience with multiple clients or brands

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize competing deadlines

  • Proficiency in marketing platforms (email marketing tools, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Google Analytics, etc.)

  • Comfort with website CMS platforms and basic editing (no coding required)

  • Data-driven mindset with strong attention to detail and accountability.

  • The flexibility to travel up to 2 weeks per calendar year.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Deep expertise in SEO, PPC, or both

  • Experience in hospitality, travel, or vacation rentals

  • Familiarity with analytics dashboards and marketing automation tools
