Beacon Healthcare Group is seeking a Regional Nurse Consultant, Registered Nurse (RN) to oversee, monitor and provide support to staff of our Northern region facility locations in Savannah, Maryville & St. Joseph. The ideal candidate will be a responsible, well-trained professional who is able to provide necessary superior nursing oversight. Responsibilities

• Conduct regular assessments of patient care practices to ensure adherence to established protocols and regulations and advise of necessary modification if needed.
• Serve as a resource for nursing staff regarding patient care issues, medical records management, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with facility nursing personnel for routine and critical educational components to maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Review and discuss weekly required report submitted by each Director of Nursing.
• Participate on pharmaceutical calls.
• Monitor and evaluate Dietary recommendation by the Dietician.
• Assist with developing appropriate plan of correction with facility staff for adequate corrections and observation.

Skills

• Proven experience as a registered nurse
• Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
• Excellent knowledge of state and federal long-term care guideline
• In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.)
• A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Responsible and compassionate
• Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Patient with excellent problem-solving skills
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
