Regional People & Culture Manager
Location: Hybrid/Remote: The successful candidate can work on a Hybrid/Remote basis, reporting into one of our offices located in Pennsylvania or North Carolina.
Status: Permanent

Why are we hiring a Regional People & Culture Manager?

As we continue to expand our Instem portfolio, we are hiring a Regional P&C manager to support us on this journey!
The Regional People & Culture Manager is a key position taking responsibility for delivering high quality HR Services by providing HR oversight and direction for multiple countries in a specified geographical area.
The Regional People & Culture Manager may oversee the People & Culture Team based in specified region(s) as assigned, ensuring the People & Culture team is delivering exceptional service to Instem. This role will be a strategic partner to departments to meet corporate business targets.
Reporting to the Global People & Culture Director, the Regional People & Culture Manager will work closely with all levels of leaders and business stakeholders in the different countries where Instem is based. The Regional People & Culture Manager is part of the broader People & Culture Leadership team

What are you responsible for?

  • Manage any PCBP team members based in different countries (in specified region) ensuring they advise, support, educate and train our managers.
  • Lead specified region and business partnerships in advising and supporting managers on all Employee Relations issues, including performance management; sickness & absence; disciplinary & grievance procedures
  • Develop and mentor team members in HR expertise and business partnering
  • Monitor regional employment legislation, best practice and regulatory compliance and anticipating future requirements in collaboration with team
  • Create and implement policies and compliance plans, initiatives and solutions that support growth and drive business results
  • Help develop best practices and help develop and track key performance indicators
  • Ensure harmonized HR processes across all regions whenever possible
  • Contribute to and collaborate on HRIS enhancements, upgrades and improvements
  • Proactively ensure that People & Culture projects are implemented in line with local regulations
  • Partner with the TA Team to ensure we are providing a welcoming and efficient start for new joiners in region
  • Work very closely, as a Business Partner, with department leadership to make decisions for operational activities and support departments to reach their goals
  • Collaborate with teammates to meet long term goals around people development
  • Help design and implement Compensation & Benefits programs that align with company’s workforce strategies and manage employee benefits budget
  • Build and maintain an effective partnership with staff to support our positive employer-employee relationship that embodies our culture and values
  • Lead and/or collaborate on wider People & Culture projects/initiatives
  • Support all internal and external audit requests
  • Adherence to the Company’s Quality Management System to ensure that all work is handled Securely, Professionally and Diligently.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

  • Certification in Human Resources
  • International HR experience within a growing, global, and dynamic organization
  • Excellent analytical and synthetical skills
  • The ability to develop strong relationships at Exec and senior leadership level – partnering closely with the business to identify and deliver innovative solutions
  • Business acumen and strategic planning skills to translate business objectives into projects with clearly defined scope, timing, deliverables, resources and key measure success
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to coach and to influence
  • Highly organized, time management and task prioritization abilities
