POSITION DETAILS

Responsibilities

As a Area Sales Manager you shall achieve growth and strive to hit your sales targets in your states of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala.

The role will be to handle the regular sales – direct as well as with the distributors. To develop direct customers, develop customers via distributors, develop new distributors.

With the support of Marketing and your Regional Director as well as the segment leaders you will implement a strategy to do this.

As Regional Sales Manager routinely meets with direct reports to assess the progress of the business, creating action plans for resolving negative issues.

The sales will be in the segment – Automotive, Agri, Packaging, Garments, Food, Pharma, Aerospace. Basically any commodity that is exported

COMPETENCE REQUIREMENTS

LANGUAGES

Native language

English – proficiency (written and spoken)

COMPETENCES

  • Holders of this role typically possess a four-year university degree, although a relative experience and some post-secondary training, such as management courses are sufficient.

Experience in Sales 7 – 10 years

Office 365:

  • Good knowledge

CRM

  • Advanced knowledge Sales usage

Other competencies for the role primarily to take place via learnings assigned in AbsorCademy

licenses

  • Drivers License

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹1,300,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Bangalore City, Bengaluru, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:

  • Logistics: 7 years (Preferred)
  • total work: 7 years (Preferred)
  • Sales: 5 years (Preferred)
