Field Sales Manager – New York (Nightlife & On-Premise)

Amoon Spirits is not a traditional alcohol company. We are a startup technology company that happens to produce alcohol, introducing the world’s first AI-integrated, LED-powered, vortex-driven bottle experience. Our goal is to redefine what a spirits brand can be by fusing technology, storytelling, nightlife culture, and premium vodka.
We are building something special, disruptive, and category creating and we need someone equally special to build and dominate the New York market.
Role Overview
This is not a typical beverage sales job.
This is a ground-floor startup builder role, ideal for someone with grit, charisma, and a relentless drive to win.
You will own the New York market, build deep nightlife relationships, secure placements, run activations, and spearhead our on-premise growth. This is a field-first, high-activity role that requires long days, late nights, and an unshakeable hustle mindset.
You must be able to move fast, solve problems without hand-holding, and operate with the intensity of a founder.
Key Responsibilities1. On-Premise Sales & Market Penetration
- Secure and expand placements in bars, lounges, nightclubs, hotels, restaurants, and high-profile venues.
- Conduct 20+ in-person visits daily, mixing prospecting with relationship management.
- Deliver product demos, bottle presentations, and samplings daily.
- Execute high-touch follow-ups to convert leads into recurring buyers.
2. Nightlife Activation & Brand Embedding
- Run bottle-service activations, tech-driven LED show demonstrations, and promotional nights.
- Build relationships with nightlife groups, promoters, hospitality directors, DJs, influencers, and event companies.
- Attend and support late-night activations (prime window: 9 PM – 2 AM).
- Ensure Amoon becomes the talked-about vodka across NYC nightlife.
3. Distributor Collaboration – MHW (Primary Partner)
You will work closely with MHW, Ltd., our distributor, to drive volume, streamline ordering, and strengthen market execution.
Responsibilities include:
- Build strong working relationships with MHW representatives and leadership.
- Ensure consistent communication regarding inventory, routing, ordering, and market needs.
- Provide MHW with product education, brand updates, and promotional priorities.
- Support MHW teams with tools, information, and activation schedules.
- Drive velocity by ensuring MHW is fully aligned with Amoon’s goals, promotions, and aggressive expansion strategy.
4. Startup-Level Ownership & Innovation
- Operate with entrepreneurial autonomy building the market as if it’s your own business.
- Develop creative ways to get Amoon into the right hands and high-visibility venues.
- Be resourceful, persistent, and adaptable in fast-changing situations.
- Use tech demonstrations to elevate the story behind our product.
5. Reporting & Accountability
- Track daily visits, new placements, case volume, reorder cadence, and activation results.
- Provide leadership with weekly performance reports and monthly market insights.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of active prospects and follow-up schedules.

Who You Need to BeRequired Experience
- 5–10+ years selling spirits or high-end beverage products.
- Strong, active network within the NYC nightlife and hospitality industry.
- Proven success opening and scaling new accounts.
- Experience working with distributors (MHW strongly preferred).
- Track record of executing frequent activations and building brand presence.
- High resilience, high drive, and elite communication skills.
Preferred
- Startup, entrepreneurial, or founder-like mentality.
- Experience with premium/luxury spirits brands.
- Understanding of experiential marketing, tech-driven demonstrations, or nightlife promotions.
Compensation (Highly Competitive + Performance Driven)Base Salary:
$80,000 – $120,000 depending on experience + network reach
Performance-Based Bonus & Commission:
- $3–$5 per case sold (higher tier for priority accounts)
- $500–$1,000 per premium nightclub placement
- $100–$200 per activation executed
- $2,500–$7,500 quarterly KPI bonus
- $10,000–$30,000 annual achievement bonus
Projected Total Compensation:
$120,000 – $170,000+
