POSITION SUMMARY

The Regional Sales Manager –Southeast USA Industrial Sales is responsible for creating regional sales plans that delivers business objectives, identifying and acting upon opportunities and challenges, and building relationships to enhance Metaltech Sales goals and objectives in the Industrial distribution segment.

You will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding Metaltech-Omega’s industrial presence across the United States, with a strong focus on the following states: Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona, Arkansas, Lousiana and Mississippi.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic and Growth

  • Build the annual sales plan, territory strategy, and account prioritization; define targets, pipeline coverage, and resource allocation.
  • Partner with rep groups and distributors to develop, plan and execute new business growth opportunities.
  • Drive new business development (≈60% hunter / 40% farmer) while expanding existing accounts.
  • Build long‑term, value‑aligned distributor relationships for sustainable growth.
  • Identify opportunities within the segment and region – including in person, phone, and email prospecting.
  • Oversee implementation and the overall client experience for ongoing service support, business reviews/consultations, and renewals.
  • Monitor competitors and turn insights into concrete commercial actions.

Agency Management (Manufacturer’s Reps)

  • Lead and oversee day‑to‑day performance of regional rep agencies.
  • Set targets, budgets, quotes, and objectives; manage forecasts, pipeline reviews, and QBRs.
  • Ensure agencies represent the brand properly, follow our strategy, and deliver consistent results.
  • Provide support and accountability—treat agencies as an extension of our sales force.

Sales Operations & Technical

  • Create effective management reporting including monthly results and quarterly updates.
  • Deliver clear monthly results and quarterly business updates.
  • Create quarterly action plans and capture key learnings.
  • Gain knowledge in the STAFTDA, Drywall, Rental and Scaffold Erecting industry, Construction safety and fall prevention solutions.
  • Maintain basic technical understanding of product attributes, benefits, and installation requirements.

Other

  • Represent the company at key U.S. trade shows and industry events.
  • Perform other related duties to support regional growth.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 10+ years of demonstrated experience in sales leadership role, ideally with experience managing external sales agencies or rep groups.
  • Strong autonomy, initiative, and sense of responsibility; able to operate with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated track record in business growth, customer retention, and long‑term partnership development.
  • Team‑oriented mindset with excellent relationship‑building skills grounded in respect and integrity.
  • Ability to learn and retain technical product knowledge.
  • Open to constructive feedback and focused on continuous improvement.
  • Effective cross‑functional leadership skills, able to align internal teams and external partners toward common goals.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), project management, and time‑management capabilities. Must have confidence in speaking to large groups if needed.
  • Ability to perform high quality work within assigned deadlines.
  • Strategic thinker who can balance long‑term goals with day‑to‑day execution.
  • Reliable, consistent attendance and professionalism.
  • Ability to thrive in varied team environments and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Knowledge of Office suite software and Salesforce CRM Software.
