Register Dental Assistant / Dental Assistant

We are looking for a motivated register dental assistant to work full time or part time. We have two locations Carson and Long Beach.

Responsibilities:

Take and document patient dental history and updates, as well as overall health and medication history

Assist dentist by handling supplies and instruments as requested

Prepare trays for dentist with necessary instruments and supplies

Clean and sterilize instruments, and prepare treatment rooms as needed

Take, high quality dental radiographs

Ensure appropriate supply of equipment and materials

Perform patient charting as instructed by the dentist

Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room

Licensed as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA Preferred)

Current CPR certification preferred

Radiology certification preferred

2+ years of experience as an RDA or Dental Assistant

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proven ability to follow outlined policies and guidelines

Availability for Saturdays

Stay over time if needed.

Knowledge of Open Dental Software (preferred)

Make Temporary's and remove them as well

Knowledge of surgical set-ups

Possess a professional and positive attitude

PAY BASED ON EXPERIENCE

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
