  • Infant care: Provide direct care for sick and premature infants, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications and specialized feedings, and assisting with procedures.
  • Medical equipment management: Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain advanced medical equipment such as incubators and ventilators.
  • Family support and education: Educate parents on their baby's condition, provide guidance on basic care like feeding and hygiene, and offer emotional support.
  • Emergency response: Respond to emergencies and perform life-sustaining care, often requiring quick, critical thinking and decision-making.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and thorough records of the infant's care and treatment.
  • pecialized nursing skills: Expertise in neonatal resuscitation, critical care nursing, and the specific needs of newborns.
