Registered Behavior Technician

Job Overview

Positive Strides ABA, LLC is actively hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA therapy) services to children and young adults (ages 2–21) in home-based and community-based settings throughout Pennsylvania.

This position is ideal for a certified RBT who is passionate about working with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental or behavioral diagnoses. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Licensed Behavior Specialist (LBS), the RBT will implement individualized treatment plans focused on skill acquisition, behavior reduction, and improving overall quality of life.

Schedule

Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM EST
Part-time, consistent morning schedule

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in-home and in community settings
  • Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs developed by a BCBA/LBS
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions using principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
  • Collect accurate, real-time session data using electronic data collection systems
  • Complete detailed session notes and clinical documentation in compliance with company and insurance standards
  • Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and ongoing RBT training
  • Support generalization of communication, social, adaptive, and daily living skills
  • Maintain compliance with BACB ethical guidelines, HIPAA regulations, and company policies
  • Collaborate professionally with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members

Required Qualifications

  • Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • Active Pennsylvania clearances:
  • PA Child Abuse History Clearance
  • PA State Police Criminal Record Check
  • FBI Fingerprint Background Check (or affidavit of exemption)
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred in psychology, education, ABA, social work, or related field)
  • Experience working with children with autism, developmental disabilities, or behavioral health needs
  • Reliable transportation to client homes
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while following BCBA clinical direction

Preferred Experience & Skills

  • Experience in early intervention ABA services
  • Familiarity with discrete trial training (DTT), natural environment teaching (NET), and behavior reduction strategies
  • Experience with data collection software used in ABA therapy
  • Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
