Registered Behavior Technician

Duties

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Collect and record data on client behaviors, progress, and responses accurately and consistently
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, and hygiene routines
• Support clients in developing communication, social, and self-care skills through engaging teaching strategies
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding medical records and sensitive information
• Participate in team meetings to review progress, update care plans, and discuss behavioral management strategies
• Foster a positive, motivating environment that encourages client engagement and growth

Requirements

• Valid Registered Behavior Technician certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) or eligibility to obtain certification
• Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and data collection methods
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical documentation, and HIPAA compliance standards
• Ability to work effectively with individuals with autism and other behavioral health needs in a compassionate manner
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members, clients, and families
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to work various hours as needed
