Job Overview

Join our passionate team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality ABA therapy to children with Autism, and other developmental disabilities. As an RBT, you will implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), helping clients develop essential skills and improve their quality of life. ABA sessions are conducted in the client's home. This part-time position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference while gaining valuable experience in applied behavior analysis.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to support clients’ progress in communication, social skills, and daily living activities
• Collect and record accurate data on client behaviors, progress, and responses to support the BCBA
• Carry out evidence-based teaching strategies, tailored to each client’s needs, within their home environment
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling medical records and sensitive client information
• Communicate with supervisors regularly to maintain treatment fidelity
• Commit to 8 hours of initial training
• Foster a positive, engaging environment that promotes client safety, comfort, and motivation during therapy sessions

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Pass criminal background check
• Excellent communication skills for effective teaching, data collection, and collaboration
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude to support clients’ emotional well-being and progress
• Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA)*
• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance to ensure client privacy and confidentiality*
• CPR Certification*
• RBT Certification**
• Preferred: Associate’s degree or higher in a related field such as Psychology or Social Work
• Preferred: Prior ABA experience; Prior experience working with children or individuals with autism spectrum disorder
