The RBT will perform the following job duties.
a. Implement behavior intervention plans and teach skills acquisition programs in a home setting.
b. Collect data about the Client’s behaviors through direct observation.
c. Assist their supervisor, BCBA, as directed with behavior reduction assessments and skill acquisition plans.
d. Teach clients the specific behavior skills called for in treatment plans.
e. Foster Clients’ social skills.
f. Communicate behavioral intervention results to clients’ parents and caregivers.
g. Complete session SOAP notes,
h. Attend weekly supervision as well as company training as needed.
Education: The RBT should have at least a high school diploma, and some college education with courses especially in psychology. A college degree relevant to the field of behavior analysis will be preferred.
Experience working with children with autism will be a plus, otherwise, the candidate should be willing to be trained.
Other skills: Basic computer skills is a must, and the individual should have good time management skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
