Registered Behavior Technician (7AM-7:30PM)

Overview
TLW Transformation Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team at our Residential Treatment Center for Girls. This role plays a vital part in supporting our trauma-informed, T3C (Texas Child-Centered Care) model, focused on promoting safety, emotional regulation, and successful community transition. The ideal candidate is committed to providing structured, therapeutic support while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a qualified clinician
  • Provide direct one-on-one and group behavioral support to clients in a residential setting
  • Assist with completing and updating service plans, including behavioral goals and progress tracking
  • Collect, record, and report accurate behavioral data in compliance with agency and regulatory standards
  • Support clients in developing coping, social, and daily living skills using trauma-informed approaches, including TBRI® principles
  • Collaborate with clinical, case management, and direct care staff to ensure consistency in interventions
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with DFPS, HHSC, and T3C requirements
  • Support de-escalation and crisis intervention efforts while maintaining client safety
  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development
  • Promote a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment at all times

Requirements

  • Active RBT certification (or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field preferred
  • Experience working with youth in behavioral health, residential, or clinical settings preferred
  • Strong understanding of behavior management techniques and trauma-informed care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to a 3-day work schedule per week, including at least one weekend day
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in crisis situations
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, client-centered care and supporting positive behavioral outcomes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
