Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in implementing behavior intervention plans and providing support to individuals with autism spectrum disorder. Your primary focus will be on assisting clients in developing essential life skills and achieving behavioral goals. Responsibilities: - Conduct data collection and maintain accurate records of client progress. - Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). - Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans. - Provide direct one-on-one therapy to clients based on their specific needs. - Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure consistency in implementing behavior strategies. - Educate clients, families, and caregivers on behavior management techniques and strategies. - Support clients in activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care routines. - Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to ethical guidelines. Skills: - Proficient in data collection methods and analysis. - Knowledge of special education principles and practices. - Familiarity with medical terminology related to behavioral health. - Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder or developmental disabilities. - Ability to follow care plans and behavioral protocols effectively. - Strong interpersonal skills for working with individuals with diverse needs. - Familiarity with medical records documentation and confidentiality practices.
