Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
What we are looking for!
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or able to obtain within the first 30 days
- Have reliable transportation
- Be able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be willing to learn and implement new skills
- The ability to work on a team
- Physical Demands - Working with clients in their natural environments may require you to lift or move approximately 50 lbs. and be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time.
- Pass Criminal Background Check
- Work with integrity
- Understanding and adherence to HIPAA policies
- Commitment to the highest level of professionalism, reliability, and communication.
- Ability and willingness to work through challenging behavior.
Preferred
- Tricare certified
- Familiarity with HiRasmus or Similar
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, focusing on behavioral health and therapeutic interventions.
- Implement care plans and collect data on patient progress, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize applied behavior analysis techniques to assist children, particularly those with autism, in daily living activities.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records, demonstrating effective communication skills with team members and families.
- Engage in behavior management strategies to promote positive outcomes and enhance the quality of life for clients.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
