Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). This position involves providing direct, one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to clients in their homes. As an RBT, you will work closely with children and individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities to help them achieve their goals.

Whether you are a current RBT or interested in becoming one, we offer opportunities for growth within our company. If you are not yet certified, we will reimburse the cost of the RBT training course and certification upon successful completion.

Location: Lake Frederick, VA

Pay Rate: $28-32 per hour based on experience level - Spanish speaking will increase the rate!

Employment Type: Part-time/Hourly

Key Responsibilities:

- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).

- Provide direct ABA therapy to clients in their homes.

- Collect accurate data on client progress and report findings to the supervising BCBA.

- Communicate effectively with families and caregivers to ensure consistent implementation of treatment strategies.

- Adhere to ethical and professional guidelines as outlined by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

Requirements:

- Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) through the BACB is preferred but not required.

- High school diploma or equivalent is required.

- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or a related field is preferred but not required.

- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes within assigned regions in Virginia.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to pass a background check.

Work Schedule:

- Flexible hours based on client needs, with opportunities for evening and weekend shifts.
