Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Part Time

We are hiring an actively certified RBT for clients that receive between 8-20 hours of services a week.

Currently, in San Tan Valley, we are in need of an RBT to work Monday - Wednesday from 8AM-12PM with potential to move to Monday - Friday for summertime hours. There are other clients we service in the East Valley at varying distances from this client if more hours are desired!

What You’ll Do

• Work directly with children in their homes to teach skills like communication, play, and daily routines.
• Follow simple, step-by-step plans (created by a supervisor) to help kids meet their goals.
• Play and interact with children while encouraging positive behavior and progress.
• Keep notes on activities and small successes to share with your supervisor and the child’s family.
• Build meaningful relationships with children and families while providing support and encouragement.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to lift and move 50 pounds.
• Reliable transportation to travel to children’s homes.
• Valid Arizona driver’s license and a clean 39-month driving record.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain prior to starting).
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check to obtain a DPS Class One Fingerprint Clearance Card. If you are on probation, DPS may deny your clearance, which could result in termination of employment.
• Fingerprint clearance must be maintained throughout employment.
• Must be able to work in diverse environments, including both quiet and noisy settings.
• Must have an active RBT certification
