Registered Behavior Therapist (RBT) or Entry Level Behavior Technician

Advanced Behavioral Interventions is hiring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT's)/ Behavioral Therapists to work one-on-one with kids and/or teens with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other related disorders. We deliver services in-home and in-clinic!!!

Responsibilities and Duties of RBTs: As an RBT/BT, you will promote language, behavioral, social, and daily living skills in a fun, play-oriented setting to increase motivation and positive performance. ABI welcomes recent graduates, nannies, respite therapists, teachers, or individuals that enjoy working with children and/or are looking to start their career in the education/childcare field. Your responsibilities and duties will include:

  • Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training arrangements.
  • Teach and promote language, behavioral, social, and daily living skills in a fun, play setting to increase motivation and positive performance
  • Record objective daily data to reflect client progress toward goals
  • Effectively communicate positive feedback to patients
  • Maintain client confidentiality and a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment.
  • Be able to recognize and respond to critical improvements in patient behaviors.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Consistent availability from Monday through Friday is preferred.
  • Available in the afternoons (2-7:30 pm preferred)*
  • Minimum of 10 hours per week required. College students encouraged to apply!
  • High School Diploma (Required)
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are a MUST.
  • Negative TB test
  • Background Check
  • Proof of Vaccination

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
