South Austin Dental Office (privately owned) looking for a full time or part time dental assistant to join our practice!

• Required - Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or equivalent licensure in accordance with state regulations

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments following strict aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment
• Assist dentists during a wide range of procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring proper positioning and safety measures are followed in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Provide chairside assistance by handling dental materials, suctioning, and assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques to improve efficiency
• Monitor vital signs and assist with medical imaging when necessary
• Required - Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or equivalent licensure in accordance with state regulations
• Preferred - Proficiency in dental assisting procedures including chairside assisting, X-ray techniques, and infection control protocols
• Preferred - Familiarity with EMR systems such as Dentrix and Dexis

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
